Senior Clinical Manager

Full-Time/Exempt

Salary Range $69-$72k

SUMMARY-

Senior Clinical Manager oversees the community home programs clinical effectiveness and implementation of improvements.  Provide comprehensive supervision to all clinicians and their work.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE-

Masters in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling, two years' experience working with children or adolescents.  Licensed by the State. Appropriate amount of experience supervising others.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS-

LCSW or LPC required

Certificated as a Sex Offender Treatment Provider (SOTP) strongly preferred, but not required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS-

Clinical Program Supervision:

Assess the clinical effectiveness of the community home therapeutic environment and treatment approaches utilized by program staff.

Make recommendations on increasing the clinical effectiveness of the community home program's use of therapeutic interactions and interventions.

Assist in the training and implementation of improved clinical approaches and interventions.

Clinician Supervision:

Lead peer consultation group, identifying clinician specific issues as they relate to company/industry changes, documentation, program development, and case studies.

Provides direct consultation for clinicians as issues arise in the development of their practice in relation to Intercept standards and practices.

Develop and implement comprehensive, clinician specific training and orientation protocol

Responsible for training and orientation of all new clinical managers

Provide and document monthly supervision with all Clinical Managers, to include; Utilization review of clinical documents.

Provide supervision for post-graduate intern or LPC, LCSW, candidate as needed.

Provide supervision for clinicians pursuing S.O.T.P. as needed.

Oversee all clinical matters regarding Medicaid billing for both Community Level B services, Individual, Group and Family Therapy, so as to ensure that all eligible clinicians are certified in managed care options billing and are prepared to complete necessary documents needed to maximize utilization to which includes;

  • timely securing of provider numbers
  • compliance with billing expectations
  • regulatory compliance
  • changes in regulations
  • internal policies & procedures related to the above

Conduct annual performance evaluations for all clinicians.

Participate in projects related to clinical services at the discretion of the Board of Directors

Participates as a clinical consultant in relevant workgroups to all Intercept service divisions that are organized for creating new services and improving existing ones.

Other managerial duties as required.

Admissions:

Provide clinical oversight and guidance to the admission team.

Staff cases with admission team to determine clinical appropriateness for placement in Community Homes

Complete Admission Interview/Intake, as needed

Provide supervision for or LPC, LCSW candidates as needed.

14 Day Individual Services Plan -               On day 14 of placement

30 Day Individual Service Plan -                Completed on Day 30 of placement

Continued Individual Service Plan -          Completed every 30 days after the 30 day ISP

Discharge Summary                                       Due  14 days after discharge
