Summary- The IT Support Technician provides user support for all Intercept technological infrastructure systems, related assests, and their applicable vendor relations. The IT Support Technician utilizes the Intercept IT Ticket System to maintain basic business functionality by documenting steps taken to resolve problems incurred by users of computers, peripherals, and network infrastructure. The IT Support Technician routinely stages hardware, refreshes equipment for reiussue and performs other IT support functions for Intercept including the IT setup of new branch offices. 

Education- Associate Degree in related field of IT and/or CompTIA A+, Net+, Security+, Certifications highly preferred. High School Diploma of equivalent considered with 3 or more year's experience in dynamic fast paced IT Support role. 

Experience- Minimum of 3 years' exerpeince in IT helpdesk or related role with professional business or organization. CAndidates must demonstrate experience with the following:

  • Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems to include Windows 7 and 10
  • Microsoft Windows Server operating systems 2008 and 2012
  • Thorough understanding of Windows networking and NTFS file system permissions
  • Microsoft Active Directory- Moves, Adds, Changes & Deletions
  • Microsoft Office 2013, 2016
  • Basic understanding of O365 Enterprise apps and tools
  • Apple iOs device provisioning and setup
  • Laptops, desktops, managed Chromebooks- provisioning, setup and troubleshooting
  • Concepts and use of computer imaging software (IBM Big Fix/Clonezilla)
  • Basic VoIP and Video Conferencing technology understanding
  • Basic Network understanding & troubleshooting (Network Topology, OSI Model, DNS, DHCP, VPN's both client and site to site) and the competent use of command line tools specific to pinpointing network issues
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking gear functionality (managed switches, routers, firewalls, WIFI access points) and how to set them up in the network environment
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki Enterprise Console is a plus
  • Experience with Bomgar remote support tools is a plus
  • Exeperience with Okta SSO services is a plus

Essential duties including the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

IT-

  • Maintain IT assests (including hardware & software repairs) and related tasks as needed
  • Maintain IT risks including, but not limited to, patch management, anti-virus, anti-spam, network security, data security related tasks as needed
  • Provide user support to include training, use of software/hardware and problem break/fix resolution as requested
  • Interface with IT related vendors and subcontractors to open new lines of service or resolve trouble issues
  • Provide assistance on companywide IT projects as needed
  • Document transactions, problems, and remedial actions taken in a ticket system

Computer Technology Infrastructure-

  • Maintain assest associated with non-computer technical infrastructure (i.e. telephones, fax machines, copiers, etc).
  • Provide training and support to programs related to operation and ongoing maintenance of software as needed
  • Perform IT assistance in a team based environment to satisfy the needs of the company user base

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations-

Valid driving record, safe automobile, and current and sufficient auto insurance. CompTIA A+, Net+, Security+, Certifications as applicaple.
