Summary:  The Talent Coordinator will be the administrative expert and provide front-line support to talent liaisons and hiring managers. This includes facilitating a variety of recruitment activities such as making job offers, building employee files, onboarding, and any other tasks assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager. 

Experience/Education:  Bachelor's or Associate's degree in related discipline preferred. Comparable HR may be substituted for education requirement. One year of recruiting in a high volume human services or healthcare recruiting experience a plus. Experience with ATS and/or HRIS is highly preferred. 

 

Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

 

ASSIGNED BUSINESS UNIT SUPPORT

  • Providing exceptional candidate experience throughout the onboarding process.
  • Work closely with Talent Liaison's to perform preliminary background checks and DMV checks.
  • Coordinate the background process with the candidates and managers at multiple offices throughout the state.
  • Collecting required documents from candidates to complete employee file before official start dates.
  • Ensuring candidates complete TB tests, I-9's, W4's, and VA4's prior to their start date.
  • Making phone calls to follow up on reference checks and offers made; communicating updates to the Talent Liaison.
  • Represent and promote the Intercept brand and value proposition to candidates, including our mission, values, career paths and workplace environment. Ensure a positive experience for every candidate in every interaction, whether written, by phone or in-person.
  • Schedule start dates and orientation dates for candidates and assisting with the monthly New Employee Orientations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Work with Talent Liaison team to process internal employee transfers and promotions.
  • Work with HR Consultant/HR Analyst, and hiring managers to negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates. Prepare and deliver the offer.
  • On-board employees by welcoming new employees to Intercept, introducing them to our Mission, Values, the LifeBridge and organizational structure.
  • Identify the employee's job-specific training goals and timelines and follow up on completion of computer based learning modules.
  • Monitor new hire success by regular follow-up discussions, by phone, video and in-person, to assess employee progress in training and assimilation into their role.

HUMAN RESOURCES AND RECRUITMENT AND TALENT MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

  • Assist Recruitment and HR staff with development of results driven HR best practice policy, procedures, and practice.
  • Make suggestions for general policy/procedure clarification or additional HR policy/procedure creation as needed.
  • Serve as back-up and provide general Recruitment support for HR staff.
  • Assist with community and college career fairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with needed staff for special HR related projects or initiatives.
