Clinician

Summary- Plan and implement counsling program for residents. Serve as a role model for residents to observe and learn socially effective values, attitudes, and behaviors, and liaison to community agencies. 

Education and Experience- Masters in Social Work or Counseling/Rehabilitation; two years experience working with children or adolescents. Eligible for state licensing. 

Essential Duties and Responsbilities-

  • Provide weekly individual counseling and document same
  • Provide weekly group counseling sessions and document same
  • Treatment plan review of residents (approximnately two) at each weekly team meeting
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed
  • Develop treatment plans and report monthly on progress to community funding sources, guardians, and olther involved parties
  • Serve as clinical liaison to referral sources and parents regarding resident progress and needs; to include attendance of FAPT meeting as necessary
  • Take part in weekly mutli-disciplinary treatment team meetings
  • Develop and implement plans for individual resident discharges
  • Coordinate closely with other staff to ensure the appropriateness of treamtnet modalities
  • Maintain high quality documentation of all case work, completed in a timely manner and consistent with outlined program policies and licensure requirements 

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations- LCSW OR LPC desireable; Valid drivers license.
