Summary:  Guides and supervises the provision of evidence-based mental health services and programs for children with autism spectrum disorders and/or similar developmental disabilities. This position will provide training and leadership to the ABA Services team while leading the efforts to create and sustain viable ABA Services in specified locations. 

Experience/Education:  Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Childhood Development, or other related                disciplines from an accredited college or university and at least 3 years of relevant supervisory experience. Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for direct supervision of the program supervisors and staff.
    • Evaluates clinical performance of supervisees.
    • Will lead hiring, training, and discipline of staff as needed.
    • Coordinates clinical development trainings and support to program supervisors.
    • Responsible for department monthly staff schedules of reviews to ensure that each service and location receives a minimum quarterly review.
    • Regularly evaluates performance of the ABA Services department and communicates with Executive Directors.
    • Work closely with Executive Director and Director of Finance and Administration to set program budgets and work within the same.
    • Will work closely with the Marketing & Admissions Department during screening and acceptance process for referred clients
    • Will work closely with the billing department to ensure all billing for services rendered is accurate.
    • Conducts regular home or community visits based on the clinical needs of the program.
    • Remains current regarding new research, trends, and developments related to autism, special education, and related fields.
    • Will travel to multiple program service areas to provide additional support as needed.
    • Performs other duties as assigned

 

 Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable of methodologies found to benefit children with autism spectrum disorders, including Applied Behavioral Analysis ("ABA"), Early Start Denver Model ("ESDM"), Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication-Handicapped Children ("TEACCH"), Picture Exchange Communication System ("PECS"), and Pivotal Response Training ("PRT").
  • Possess knowledge of other community resources and agencies that serve children.
  • Ability to working with ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse populations.
  • Ability to appropriately interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion pertaining to the work environment
  • Must possess good judgement and decision making skills.
