Education: Master's degree in social work, psychology or counseling required; LCSW or LPC strongly preferred 

Experience:Masters degree plus 3 or more years of full time experience with children one of which in a school based setting. Two or more year's school based management/supervision, or similar experience. Must be licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Health Professions as a Licensed Mental Health Professional Type (LMHP, LMHP-R, LMHP-S, or LMHP-RP) 

Summary: Responsible for all program issues and services, ensuring effective leadership-based management of programs with an emphasis on high quality care delivered in a cost effective manner by performing the duties outlined below. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Regional Program Coordinator is a specialized position, designed to provide active supervision to each program assigned to him or her. Duties have been assigned to ensure each program is providing the highest quality of care with specific emphasis on program milieu, and the individualization of the program system to best meet the needs of each student/client.  Therefore, it is expected that the individual serving as Regional Program Coordinator will use the significant majority of his or her time working directly within his or her assigned programs, actively observing, interviewing and supervising.  The Regional Program Coordinator will serve as the Program Coordinator for assigned localities as needed.  The balance of each week will be used in his or her office completing administrative duties as needed.
