Treatment Foster Care Senior Documentation Specialist 

Salaried/Exempt

Summary- Conducts inspection of assigned programs to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory standards as well as all Intercept Policies and Procedures. Evaluates compliance issues and provides individualized, site specific, and program wide training for employees as needed. Focuses the efforts of all documentation team members on common goals and strategies to assure continuity of approach. 

Education and/or Experience- A Doctorate or Master's degree in Social Work from a college or university accredited by the Council on Social Work Education or a field related to Social Work such as Sociology, Psychology, Special Education, or Counseling, with a student placement in casework services to children and families or one year of experience in providing casework services to children and families OR;

A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a field related to Social Work including, but not limited to, Sociology, Psychology, Special Education, or Counseling and one year of experience in providing casework services to children and families OR;

An Associate's degree in a related field plus five years' experience in the field of foster care or experience in working with behavioral programs, counseling, and/or skills training is preferred. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Familiarizes self with all state and federal regulatory standards as well as all Intercept Policies and Procedures
  • Conducts monthly inspections of each assigned program's Physical Enivronment, Client Records, and Teaching Parent Records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Prepares, organizes, transports, and maintains all discharged and closed records
  • Works with Directors and Supervisors to develop, evaluate, implement, and revise Policies and Procedures
  • Provides individualized, site specific, and program wide training for employees as needed
  • Focuses and supports team efforts on common goals and strategies
  • Performs any other duty which may be requested but not included herein

  • Attends mandatory staff meetings as well as all scheduled in-service and other required training.
  • Adheres to Intercept certification requirements, including but not limited to annual tuberculosis test/screening, routine background checks, Crisis Wave, CPR and First Aid, maintaining car insurance and a working vehicle.
  • Adheres to attendance standards.
  • Complies with appropriate dress standards.
  • Submits timely written requests for leave, and report need for time off due to illness according to company standards.
  • Maintains the confidential nature of all client and company related activities.

Certificates and Licenses: Current driver's license, safe automobile, and current and sufficient auto insurance. CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Wave.
