Summary

Conducts inspections of assigned programs to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory standards as well as all Intercept Policies and Procedures. Evaluates compliance issues and provides individualized, site specific and program wide training for employees as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Familiarizes self with all state and federal regulatory standards as well as all Intercept Policies and Procedures
  • Conducts monthly inspections of each assigned program's Physical Environment, Client Records, and Teaching Parent Records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Prepares, organizes, transports, and maintains all discharged and closed records
  • Works with Directors and Supervisors to develop, evaluate, implement, and revise Policies and Procedures
  • Provides individualized, site specific and program wide training for employees as needed

Education and/or Experience

A doctorate or master's degree in social work from a college or university accredited by the Council on Social Work Education or a field related to social work such as sociology, psychology, special education, or counseling, with a student placement in casework services to children and families or one year of experience in providing casework services to children and families; OR

 A baccalaureate degree in social work or a field related to social work including, but not limited to sociology, psychology, special education, or counseling and one year of experience in providing casework services to children and families; OR

 A baccalaureate or associate degree in any field. One year experience in the field of foster care or experience in working with behavioral programs, counseling, and/or skills training is preferred, but one year of case management experience will be considered.

Ability to listen, read, and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.  Ability to communicate information and ideas so that others will understand.  Ability to prepare and effectively present information to management and other external groups.  Ability to present a positive attitude and role model customer service excellence with every interaction.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to understand implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and decision making.  Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid driving record, safe automobile, current and sufficient auto insurance.  Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) and Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) that can provide clinical supervision must be able to supervise up to two employees towards their license.

  • Ability to travel (to meetings, conferences, etc.) requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle with or without accommodation.

  • Close computer work requires clear vision as well as the ability to adjust focus when returning to other tasks.
  • Transport conference materials can require the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
