 Education and Experience:

A doctorate or master's degree in the social work, psychology, counseling or a related human services field from an accredited college or university, with at least 2 years experience in providing day treatment services and/or casework services to children and families.  Licensed or Registered for Licensure Supervision preferred.



Responsible for overall development, daily functioning and expansion of Day Treatment Services Program in but not limited to the assigned school locality, to include recruiting, hiring, training, supervising and evaluating Day Treatment Counselors, and overall program services and customer satisfaction.



Under the supervision of the Director of School Based Services, TDT Clinical Program Coordinator will assume full responsibility for all aspects of the day treatment services program in their assigned locality to include both the development of the day treatment program's philosophy and design as well as the submission of relevant program documents and policies required to maintain the DBHDS License to operate a Therapeutic Day Treatment Program.


Be responsible for weekly supervision of TDT Counselors; monthly verifying client's Medicaid status, completion of psycho-social assessments, formulate a differential diagnosis, provide weekly individual and group counseling sessions to clients, assign caseloads, assess referrals, provide clinical supervision and guidance; evaluations; hiring, orientation, training and discipline as needed; review and signing-off of documents as needed;


Fully responsible for supervision of all record keeping associated with service provision and data information system input/maintenance; ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards set forth by the DBHDS and DMAS as well as company policies and procedures;


Will work closely with the Business Development Department in the development of a marketing plan and accompany to off-site presentations as needed;


Will work closely with the Program Director, Counselors, and School personnel during screening and acceptance process for referred clients;


Work closely with Program Director to set program budgets and work within the same;


Will work closely with the billing department and Program Director to ensure all billing for services rendered is accurate;


May serve as interim counselor in the absence of a Day Treatment Counselor or Site Coordinator; shall be fully responsible for all duties outlined in the Day Treatment Counselors job description during this period;


Will ensure that all referring agencies and associated customers are completely satisfied with services received by meeting with School Principals and referral sources weekly.


Will lead a weekly team meeting to include all staff in the locality


Will attend  FAPT and faculty/staff meetings as deemed appropriate by the referral source, school principal or Program Director.

Maintains assigned schedule by allowing adequate time to arrive and assume responsibilities at designated time;


Attends monthly mandatory staff meetings as well as all scheduled in-service and other required training;


Adheres to Intercept certification requirements, including but not limited to annual tuberculosis test/screening, crisis management training and CPR/First Aid certification;


Adheres to attendance standards;


Complies with appropriate dress standards;


Submits timely written requests for leave, and report need for time off due to illness according to company standards;


Works independently to complete required tasks with minimum supervision, as appropriate;


Maintains the confidential nature of all client and company related activities;
