Summary:   The Talent Liaison (TL) conducts the full life-cycle of employee recruitment, representing Intercept as a great place to work and grow. The TL partners with new employees to monitor and assist in their successful training and assimilation into the company and their role. 

Experience/Education:  Bachelor's or Associate's degree in related discipline preferred. Comparable HR experience may be substituted for education requirement. One year of recruiting in a high volume human services or healthcare recruiting experience a plus. Experience with college recruiting, social media networking a plus.

Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.


  • Perform full life-cycle recruitment from start to finish for assigned business units.
  • Work closely with hiring business units to understand their current and future staffing requirements, including staffing levels, locations, qualifications. Communicate frequently with hiring managers on the status of open positions.
  • Identify, screen and present candidates to hiring managers for open positions.
  • Work with the hiring manager to identify internal candidates within the hiring manager's business unit and in other business units. Use career-pathing to identify and support internal hiring.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to effectively identify the best talent sources with guidance from the Director of Recruitment and Talent Management.
  • Develop and maintain a network of potential candidates, utilizing social networks, employee networks, professional organizations, etc. Coordinate and attend recruiting events such as job fairs and college open houses as needed.
  • Represent and promote the Intercept brand and value proposition to candidates, including our mission, values, career paths and workplace environment. Ensure a positive experience for every candidate in every interaction, whether written, by phone or in-person.
  • Post positions using a variety of venues (websites, newspapers, college placement offices, etc).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Acquire the required pre-employment documentation for each new hire to ensure full compliance with company policies, licensing and Medicaid regulations.
  • Work with HR Consultant/HR Analyst, and hiring managers to negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates.       Prepare and deliver the offer.      
  • On-board employees by welcoming new employees to Intercept, introducing them to our Mission, Values, the LifeBridge and organizational structure.
  • Complete new hire orientation and process new hire paperwork and training process. Identify the employee's job-specific training goals and timelines.
  • Monitor new hire success by regular follow-up discussions, by phone, video and in-person, to assess employee progress in training and assimilation into their role.
  • Conduct periodic surveys of first-year employees to assess their engagement and identify ongoing concerns.
  • Work with new employee's managers to resolve concerns about training, work environment, or other job-related concerns.


  • Assist Recruitment and HR staff with development of results driven HR best practice policy, procedures, and practice.
  • Make suggestions for general policy/procedure clarification or additional HR policy/procedure creation as needed.
  • Serve as back-up and provide general Recruitment support for HR staff.
  • Collaborate with needed staff for special HR related projects or initiatives.
