Summary:   The Human Resource Analyst provides general support to business unit leaders on HR policies, practices, and processes. They assist in providing counsel to ensure compliance, consistency, and fairness on all HR related topics.  

Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

ASSIGNED BUSINESS UNIT SUPPORT

  • Advise managers and directors on all HR related topics, such as HR policy/procedure, benefits, compensation, performance management, training and development, and employment law, etc.
  • Review all business unit job descriptions and employee compensation to ensure compliance, consistency, and secure appropriate approval. Make recommendations for changes to the HR Operations Manager.
  • Enroll/terminate business unit employee benefits in a timely manner. Answer employee benefit questions and conduct benefits orientations as needed. Have discussions with employees regarding FMLS, ADA, and other related laws.
  • Assist HR management team with assigned business unit employee disciplinary actions, ensuring all actions are fair, compliant, and consistent with HR policy and practice.
  • Review and analyze business unit exit interview results and make recommendations as necessary.
  • Oversee the business unit's Performance Review process, ensuring compliance, timeliness, and consistency.

 

HUMAN RESOURCES AND RECRUITMENT AND TALENT MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

  • Assist Recruitment and HR staff with development of results driven HR best practice policy, procedures, and practice.
  • Make suggestions for general policy/procedure clarification or additional HR policy/procedure creation as needed.
  • Serve as back-up and provide general Recruitment support for HR staff.
  • Collaborate with needed staff for special HR related projects or initiatives.
