Clinical Manager

Full-Time/Salaried/Exempt

Summary: Plan and implement counseling program for residents.  Serve as a role model for residents to observe and learn socially effective values, attitudes and behaviors, and liaison to community agencies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Master's in social work or Counseling/Rehabilitation and at least two years' experience working with children or adolescents. Eligible for state licensing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide weekly individual counseling and document same.
  • Provide weekly group counseling sessions and document same.
  • Treatment Plan review of each resident at each weekly Team meeting.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Develop monthly treatment plans to report on progress to community funding sources, guardians, and other involved parties (P.O.s, G.A.L.s, etc).
  • Serve as clinical liaison to referral sources and parents regarding resident progress and needs; to include attendance of FAPT meetings as necessary.
  • Take part in weekly multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings.
  • Develop and implement plans for individual resident discharges.
  • Coordinate closely with other staff to ensure the appropriateness of treatment modalities.
  • Exercise sound judgment in proposing changes to resident treatment plans.
  • Maintain high quality documentation of all case work, completed in a timely manner and consistent with outlined program policies and licensure requirements. 
  • Maintain record of all services provided.
  • Lead/participate in staff training and/or seminar presentations as requested.
