Credentialing Specialist Part-Time/Non-Exempt

Intercept's Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for negotiating contracts and credentialing approvals for the services provided by and billed for by the company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Must have at least a high school diploma with a minimum of 3 years' experience in credentialing with insurance companies and contract negotiations.

GENERAL TASKS AND DUTIES Obtain group credentialing privileges as well as credentialing for all level providers. Complete set ups and maintain attestations in the Council of Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) database using EnrollHub. Work in the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) database to apply and/or search for National Provider Numbers (NPIs). Organization of the credentials, contracts and information obtained.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Current driver's license, safe automobile driving record, and current and sufficient auto insurance. Tuberculosis test/screening. Successful completion of background screening.
